Service Profile: HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER
HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER
The Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program is a federally funded program designed to assist low-income families with their housing needs. Participants in the HCV program receive assistance to rent private market apartments. Participants find their own apartment, condominium, townhouse or single-family homes. Participants pay approximately 30-35% of their adjusted income towards rent, which is paid directly to their landlord. The FCRHA pays the balance to the landlord.
